action lab entertainment is releasing two collected editions in comic shops today — Stray: who killed the Doberman? as well as Nutmeg: early Fall: taste Buddies.

What’s strange about this is the pacing.

The stray book collects the entire miniseries, four issues. however problem #4 was released just last week. The Nutmeg book collects the very first three issues. however problem #3 was released the week before, at the end of May.

That’s a truly quick turnaround for the collected editions. Typically, retailers don’t like that, since it makes the final problem a “dead product”, something of bit rate of interest to customers, more quickly. However, the makers of Nutmeg were tweeting that problem #3 was offered out, so in this case, at least, making the collection offered quickly much better satisfies prospective readers.
